About this assignment
We are looking for someone who adores cats and has experience with giving oral medications. We are looking for someone who is communicative, dependable and excited to explore Brooklyn! Chatty loves to snuggle so someone who is ok with cats on the bed is a plus :)
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feeding Chatty twice a day (wet food in the morning and evening) as well as medications twice a day. Cleaning out the litter box and keeping things tidy. Lots of pets, love and play time would also be appreciated! Chatty is very easy going, friendly and chill. And despite his name, not actually very talkative
What are the good features of the property and location
Our one bedroom is cozy and great for one or two people. We have a full sized bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to use! The apartment is located in Crown Heights, with an abundance of shops, restaurants and coffee shops close by, and is an easy walk to Prospect Park. We are also very centrally located in the middle of several train lines to the rest of the city (A, C, 2, 3, 4, 5, Q).
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Chatty is pretty easygoing guy, but does require medication twice a day. Someone will need to be around to feed him during mealtimes in the morning and evening.
Can I bring my own pets?

This was my second stay with chatty in Brooklyn and we got along famously. A very affectionate cat, sweet apartment, clean and efficient, in the neighborhood so close to so many great things. The Brooklyn Museum, the Botanical Garden, the zoo and of course Prospect Park.. Genevieve was fun and easy to communicate with. A great place to hang my hat while I visited my favorite city in the world.

Crown Heights NYC cat sit
A great experience! A nice cozy very inviting clean apartment in an interesting neighborhood of Brooklyn near Prospect Park, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Brooklyn Museum and tons of cool restaurants and shops. And I can't say enough about Chatty. He was the friendliest cat I've ever met and was warm and affectionate immediately. Genevieve was easy to work with, instructions were clear and she communicated well. I really truly enjoyed myself. Thank you.
