- Good communicator - need to communicate well so there aren't misunderstandings.
- Neat and respectful of the place -I will leave the house in good condition and expect it to be returned that way.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
The 2 cats are easily cared for with feeding and liter cleaning. They can be kept indoors. If allowed outdoors, they need to be brought back in. They are sweet and people friendly.
The house is easy to maintain.
What are the good features of the property and location
Great place just north of Asheville.
The house is nearby the town and markets. It is located on a short gravel road that makes it feel more remote and quiet. There are mountain views in the front and it is forested in the back - the home has three three small decks for indoor/outdoor living. Gets plenty of sunlight with some passive solar warmth. One story home.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
There are stairs to enter the house so it is not fully accessible from the outside, but it is once inside.
I will require references and video call before confirming.

Beautiful spot in the North Carolina hills
A cozy, bright home with matching kitties Spot and Dede! In a perfect location just north of Asheville in the quaint town of Weaverville, the house is an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Rachel is friendly, welcoming and easy going. She provided great instructions regarding the house and cats, tips on the area and good communication while she was away. Her home has amazing views of the mountains to the west and is well appointed and clean. "The boys" (aka Dede and Spot) are also easy going and friendly. They enjoy a good lap sit on occasion but are not overbearing. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would be happy to have another go.
