About this assignment

Hello! We will be gone 4-6 weeks in March/April 2025 and are looking for someone to take care of the plants, cats, and mind the house.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We're looking for a responsible house sitter to care for our two friendly cats and maintain our home while we're away.

Responsibilities:

Cats: Feed and care for our two indoor/outdoor cats. They usually come back inside in the evenings. Their litter boxes, located in the basement, need to be cleaned every few days. No medications are needed, but they do love treats!

House Plants: We have over 50 house plants that will need occasional watering.

Trash & Recycling: Please put out the trash and recycling on Wednesday nights.

Snow Shoveling: If it snows, light shoveling may be required.
House Maintenance: We ask that you keep the house clean and tidy during your stay.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The only bathroom is upstairs. Shoveling may be required in the winter. The cats love to snuggle so you must be comfortable with them being close. We will want to video chat with any potential sitters ahead of time.
