The house is located in lovely countryside with great walks, and is only 5 mins drive (40 mins walk) from Stroud town with a train station and plenty of shops and lovely weekend Market.

The farm animals require a check and feed each day. The dogs need feeding and walking. There is great Internet connection if you needed to work from the house.

Chickens & ducks require feed in the morning and putting to bed at night.

Testimonials

If you're looking for Idyllic, it's here!

This was an idyllic house sit, a beautiful family with gorgeous accommodation and lots of lovely animals. Julia and Patrick were generous hosts and showed us what we needed to do, it was easier than it sounded. Counting the sheep and goats, letting the ducks out in the morning and then back in in the evening, checking the hens. The dogs were lovely and excitable but well behaved. You need to be fairly fit walking 2 fields to find the sheep,(sometimes) and the goats all loved a hug and some fuss. Stunning views, peaceful and relaxing. Stroud was a lovely place to visit, especially the Saturday market. This has been my favourite house sit so far and I hope to return. If you get the chance grab it quick!

House and Animal sitting in the Cotswolds

We housesat for Julia and Patrick for 10 days - they were very welcoming and gave us excellent instructions on how to look after the animals, dogs and the house. It was a lovely area and a beautiful house. The sheep, goats, chickens and ducks were easy to look after and we enjoyed being around them. Winston and Mabel the dogs are happy dogs who love a walk up the hill and into the woods - we were really spoilt with places to walk them as the area is full of lovely walks and views. Thanks for having us. Paul & Sue
