We have two cats, Luna and Vivi. They are both around 3 years old and love each other!
We're looking for someone who loves cats, enjoys exploring/adventuring, and someone who is willing to show our place the same amount of love that we do!
We have two cats (Luna and Vivi). Luna is the grey cat, and Vivi is the black cat. Vivi doesn't have any special needs, but is very energetic and loves to play. Luna on the other hand loves cuddling, but she has been experiencing some overgrooming issues for some time. We've put her on a new vet diet and are waiting to see how that goes. With that being said, both cats love human interaction and love cuddling. We ask that our house sitter play with Vivi at least once per day for 10-15 minutes (we have plenty of toys), as well as basic chores like scooping the litter twice a day (once is fine if you're out for a prolonged period of time), and ensure that their water and food are topped off each day.
We live in an amazing location. We are about 2-3 blocks away from Main Street in Manayunk, which is a very cool and hip neighborhood in Northwest Philadelphia. We live at the top of the hill so you get a great view of the Schuykill River and Main Street from our balcony. We live within a 5 minute walk from the nearest train station which takes you straight into downtown Philly, which is about a 20-minute ride. We live in a very quiet complex, but you're close enough to the action of Main Street if you prefer. We're very close to numerous hiking and bike trails.
Our place is magical (but I am biased). We love living here! It's a spacious two bedroom, two bath condo with an upstairs loft (which acts as our office and living room). Washer and dryer are in the unit, and our guest bathroom has a working jacuzzi tub.
Please ensure that you will stay for the entire duration as specified. You do not need your own mode of transportation because we live so close to the train station, but we have free on-site parking if you are bringing a car. We also request that no guests be brought to our place. We are fine with house sitters who would like to bring their significant other along, just please no other guests. We also request that our house sitter make no multi-day trips during their stay - the longest we're willing to have the cats alone is less than 24 hours at a time.
No, sorry.

The Great Philly Cat Sit
I had the extreme pleasure of caring for Luna & Vivi for 5 weeks. Luna was a bit shy and distanced at first, but soon turned into a super snuggler, bed sleeper, and bathroom watch cat guaranteed to steal your heart as she starts following you around chatting about her day. Vivi is more of the love the one you’re with type, quick to just becomes yours, she loves to be rubbed, cuddled & brushed when she’s not sitting in her sunbeam. Both are extremely easy and a joy to care for with only a few essential daily tasks to complete to ensure their happiness and safety. I miss them already. And these great pets unsurprisingly have fabulous owners. I cannot say enough of the warm and welcoming generosity extended to me by Kat & Sasha. I was mostly in touch with Kat, and commutation was easy and exceptional form prior to the sit and during the duration. Kat picked me up from the airport, took me to breakfast at one of her thoughtfully considered favorite local places, and ensured that my stay was comfortable, totally accommodating and well informed. They are great and wonderful company. In addition to filling me in with some great instructions, area suggestions and tips, they left detailed instructions that answered any questions I could have possible conceived of. Time flew by in their their very comfortable and clean condo which is located in the lovely Manayunk area of Philadelphia. The area has walkable access to parks, groceries, restaurants and transit to the center of the city. A perfect spot to explore Philadelphia from. Thanks once again to Kat & Sasha for trusting me with their wonderful cats and home. I highly recommend this sit and would love the opportunity to do it again.
