About this assignment

I need someone who is trustworthy. I am looking for someone to perform minimum duties but those duties responsibly. They need to understand and have patience with an elderly person.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Mostly be there to be available at night for an elderly person. There is no care involved, she is independent. There are 3 dogs on the property. The sitter is NOT responsible for dog feeding or walking. The house sitter would be expected to bring in packages and mail and be available to run an occasional errand. You would be expected to be there in the evening and nights in case needed.

What are the good features of the property and location

The property is in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to a plethora of hiking and mountain biking trails. The yard is fenced and large. (2.5 acres) so the dogs are free to roam. The yard has a large number of flowers and we have a lot of birds for those interested in birds

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

An elderly lady (who is very self sufficient) owns the property. I live in the guest house and need someone to stay while I am gone. You need to be comfortable with being around dogs. Willing to perform errands, bring in packages, put out trash and notify someone if somethings is amiss, like an irrigation leak.
