Spring and Fall in rural Quebec, looking after 2 cats

About this assignment

A couple would be ideal as it can get lonely in a remote area. We live in a rural area of Quebec in the Eastern Townships. A car is a must. We have 2 elderly cats, a shy one and a very curious one who needs medicine twice a day.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding the cats, giving one of them medication twice a day, and emptying the litter box. House cleaning as we do not have a cleaning lady and watering the plants.

What are the good features of the property and location

It is a very quiet area, with only the call of the cows at feeding time! We live 7 min drive away from the village and 20 min drive away from a major city. There are magnificent views at 260 degrees. We provide our 2 ebikes.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It is a remote area, although neighbors are around if you need troubleshooting. The Lac Massawippi iis gorgeous and the small village has a "dépanneur" - 8 min drive away.
We are looking for a mature person or couple for 3-4 weeks October 2025
