Seeking responsible, reliable, respectful care-giver for our furbabies. They all need lots of love, attention, and snuggles. I am retired, so they are use to someone being around most of the time. Peaceful retreat in exchange.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Fenced yard, so dogs need let in/out a few times a day. They free-feed, so keep bowls full. No walking or clean up involved.

What are the good features of the property and location

Cute cottage in the woods with stream (1 acre). Peaceful and safe. 1 mile to the Susquehanna River. Close to many attractions: HersheyPark, Amish Country, Gettysburg, etc. We have 3 friendly, loveable, attention-seeking dogs: Goldendoodle, Mini Goldendoodle, and Mini Poodle - more than pets to us; they are family. We have a large fenced yard, so no walking/leash necessary; just open the door and they come in/out as needed. Seeking responsible, trustworthy, reliable, loving pet/house sitter for our vacations (we love to travel, especially in the winter). We've had a great experience with housesitters twice prior! We love to travel, but with 3 dogs it's becoming a challenge to coordinate because they are very spoiled pups. I'm early-retired, so they are very use to someone being around most of the time; thus a kennel or a drop in sitter is out of the question. We encourage exploring our beautiful area (4 - 5 hour ventures). Lots of outside activities available: hiking/restaurants/bars/grocery within 15 minutes. We are open to discussing travel/food stipend, and we can offer use of our vehicle, if needed. We have a 55 pound goldendoodle, a 20 pound mini goldendoodle, and a 12 pound mini poodle whose parents very much need a vacation! If interested, let's start the conversation . . .

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our dogs love being loved. They will be on your lap, by your side, in your bed, and under your feet at all times. Also note, we are rural; a Dollar Store is walkable, but other amenities are 10 - 15 minute drive. We are in the woods, so there are bugs and wildlife. The stream and the woods are peaceful, but we are on country road; the back of the house is very private (hot tub, hammocks, patio, sunroom, etc).
