Spacious 2 bed/2bath in Carlsbad CA (5 miles east of the beach) + DOG

About this assignment

I'm looking for someone who is neat, tidy and is familiar with young (2 years old) big dogs. Preferable that someone work from home or not be out of the house for more than 3-4 hours at a time. My home is a sanctuary, and I'm looking for someone to treat it that way. No smokers, drug users or partiers. This opportunity is for a single person or a couple.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

This opportunity is for dog lovers who are used to large, energetic breeds. The main responsibility, other than cleaning up after yourself and keeping the place tidy, is to take care of Kiki. She needs rigorous exercise twice a day, unless she's at daycamp (M/W/F). You'd have to have your own transportation or you can borrow my car with a refundable down payment for accidents. Kiki is potty trained and we have a protocol for bed time and feeding times.

What are the good features of the property and location

I live 5 miles from the beach, 1.8 miles from the freeway and 2.6 miles to the nearest Trader Joe's and a mile to a stellar grocery store. I get more sun than coastal homes, and I have an east facing view in a suburban neighborhood. Private backyard. No TV, but I do have high speed internet for streaming.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

1. Good physical condition to take the dogs on hikes
2. Ability to be in charge or Kiki will probably try to break the rules
3. Neat and clean
4. Work from home
5. Available for a meet and greet before the assignment starts
