About this assignment

We are looking for a kind and neat person who would like to keep an eye on our loved cat, Aagje. Aagje is an old female cat who needs two times per day food and loves a cuddle and attention.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Mainly it is about taking care of Aagje. That means giving her food two times per day (if you are home she will ask for more, but two times is minimum) and give her some attention. Once per week the litterbox needs to be cleaned, but that is minimal work. Aagje can stay alone at home for full days, so you do not need to worry if you are going out for the day.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are living in a newly renovated house in a very green area of The Netherlands. Which means that the forest is on 10 minutes walking and a small beach 15 minutes walking distance. We have a nice town with town square on 10 minutes biking distance or 20 minutes walking distance, where you will find different kind of shops. We have the main shops (incl supermarket) nearby, at 3 minutes walking distance. Besides that, we have a train station in town that goes to the bigger cities. We are living in a nice and quiet street with lovely neighbors.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Just some details:
We would love to be updated every now and then on how it is going.
We have a ring doorbel which has a camera.
We prefer to not wear shoes in the house.

Big plus: We have family abroad which means that we need a sitter a couple times a year. Sometimes for shorter periods, and sometimes for longer periods up to a month (and half). It would be amazing if you would love to come during these times.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
