Plants and Snow-That's it!

About this assignment

We are looking for a person or couple to take care of our many houseplants and to ensure our driveway remains clear of snow. We are going away for six weeks so we want to feel at ease knowing that someone responsible is taking care of our home.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Ideally the housesitter will be a plant person and will water the plants as required, use the snowblower to clear the snow from the driveway, and use a shovel to clear a path for our two tenants. The house sitter will keep the place clean and tidy.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are located in trendy Westboro which is quite central. The neighbourhood has many great shops, cafes, and restaurants. Our two bedroom house is colourful, full of artwork, comfortable and spacious. It has a large office with windows which is perfect for a remote worker.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The duties for this assignment are minimal. However, potential house sitters need to consider that they will share an entrance with the tenant that lives in the basement. Also, we have a commuter who comes 2-3 times a week and lives in a studio which is located in a separate building on the property. That studio does not have a washroom, so they need to enter the main house periodically.
