We are looking for a responsible, independent caring person that is respectful of the commitment to house sit. One who enjoys a country setting with two very low maintenance cats and lots of space.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We are looking for someone who can check the mail 3 times a week, make sure the fur babies have food and water, keep the house warm, take the trash up on Sunday's, water a few plants as needed and keep the place relatively clean.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is nestled in Southern Oregon on 5 acres with lots of space and privacy. We have a back up generator in case of power outages and wood heat. Our cellular carrier is Verizon and we have high speed internet. Our home is just 10 minutes from our small town of Rogue River and just 25 minutes from the much bigger towns.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Country setting with lots of privacy and a very safe location. Neighbors are also on 5 acre parcels and we have known them for 20 plus years. There can be snow storms in the winter where it may make it difficult to get to town.
