Caring for two cats in the heart of Montreal

About this assignment

Looking for a house sitter to water the plants and care for two very affectionate cats. Dates are very flexible as I am waiting to find the right pet sitter before organizing the trips!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house sitter will have to water the plants once a week, feed the cats in the morning and at night, clean the litter box every day if possible, make sure they have fresh water and give them some cuddles!

What are the good features of the property and location

I live in a 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of Montreal, by the Lachine canal. It is a very vibrant neighbourhood with tons of cool cafes, bars, breweries and restaurants. In the summer, enjoy kilometres of bicycle path by the canal, all the way to the Old Port. In the winter, enjoy walking by the canal and grab a coffee at the numerous cafes along the way.
10 min walk from the metro station, so easy to navigate with public transport as well.
The apartment is on the main floor with a private back yard, perfect for a BBQ with friends.
Although it is a 2-bedroom, only one of them is equipped with a bed (the other one is a home office). So ideal for a single person or a couple looking to enjoy Montreal.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I also have dogs and work with horses - although they won't be present, please be aware that if you have any allergies, some hair might have escape my thorough vacuuming!

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: My cats are used to live with two dogs so if your dogs are well behaved with cats, bring them along!
