About this assignment

We are going away and our dogs don’t like kennels, so we can’t put them there. Bruno our springer doesn’t like being separated from our other dogs but we couldn’t put Charlie our cocker spaniel in a kennel as he is 15 and we don’t want to put him there.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Charlie stays inside, while bruno and millie stay outside in their shed. Charlie, bruno and millie will need fed once a day and made sure their water is topped up. Charlie eats inside but needs let out a few times during the day to go to the toilet and he likes people to walk around with him when he goes to the toilet. The dogs have a big run of the garden but bruno will need walked, charlie and millie don’t need walked as much, but they all love the beach ten minutes away from our house.

What are the good features of the property and location

We have two airbnbs at our property. One is a treehouse and one is a log cabin, We have a beach ten minutes away drive and about 30-40 minute walk, we are very close to the popular village carlingford approximately 7 minute drive, which has plenty of activities etc. We live right beside a mountain also so if anyone likes hiking then this will be perfect! Our property has a small river down the back of our garden and a massive garden if you just want to sit in the sun. We are very local to many things so if you don’t want to be travelling a lot we have a lot of things near us to do.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Nothing much needs to be considered except they will have to be willing to let charlie out to the toilet during the day. Millie can’t come into the house under so circumstances as we have a daughter allergic to her, bruno doesn’t need to come inside either.
