Housesitting with 2 independent cats and 6 adorable kittens, in a calm town in Løten

I will be traveling for about three weeks in February and I'm looking for someone to take care of my cats and house plants while I'm gone. I have in total 8 cats, 2 adult cats and 6 young kittens. The cats are very independent and the kittens are very curious and playful. The kittens were born on December 4th, so they are still very young. They are potty trained and eat solid foods, in addition to nursing from their mother. The adult male cat is neutered and is the only cat that goes outside, even during winter.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Water the houseplants every 7 days. Keep the food and water bowls full and empty out the kat litter when full. Let the adult male cat in and out during the day, but keep him inside during the night. Play with the kittens as much as possible so they get used to people and being handled. Keep the house tidy and warm and take the garbage bins down to the road when they get emptied.

What are the good features of the property and location

I have a big and cozy decorated house in a quiet town called Løten. The house has 4 bedrooms, two bathroom, full kitchen, 3 living rooms and a garage with a fully equipped gym. The house is very comfortable and you'll have the whole place to yourself. The area is very quiet, but perfect for those who love outdoor winter activities. There are some decent ski-resorts inn the area and lots of cross country ski opportunities. The nearest city is Hamar and is just 15 minutes away and offers all the amenities a city has to offer. There is a grocery store within walking distance from the house.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

They must like cats, especially kittens. It is winter time, so some shoveling might be needed if it snows during your stay. No other pets allowed.
