About this assignment

Enjoy your Boston-area home for the month of March! (exact dates flexible) Our 3br/3ba single-family house and our pleasant cat would welcome you to leafy Newton. 5 min walk to park or to town square with restaurants and independent movie theatre; 5 more min to the commuter rail. 20 min drive into Boston. We will be visiting family out of town and would appreciate your helping us not leave the cat alone that long.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

--Feed and scratch the cat, and be ok with him sleeping on the bed with you at night.
--Water a few houseplants
--Pull trash bins in/out once a week

What are the good features of the property and location

Very comfortable family home in a quiet but close-to-everything neighborhood. It's set up for easy work-from-home with wifi and plenty of good spots work. 5 min walk to park or to town square with restaurants and independent movie theatre; 5 more min to the commuter rail. 5 min drive to Moody Street in Waltham, with its restaurants and bars. 20 min drive into Boston. You can even train with the marathoners who are running Heartbreak Hill, just a couple miles away. Possibility of car loan as part of exchange, depending on how much use you will make of it.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

If you are proposing using more than one bedroom, please note that the two secondary bedrooms each have a twin and are decorated with teenage kid stuff. Only suitable for kids with supervision.
