House/Pet Sit in Beautiful Northern California Home

About this assignment

Looking for an individual, a couple, or a small family to watch our home and take care of our 5 cats for 3+ weeks in October 2025.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Primary responsibility will be taking care of the kitties, making sure that they are fed and cleaned up after. Housekeeper will come in mid-way through the housesitting period. Gardener takes care of the yards every other Friday.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our 3 bedroom/2 bath home is located in a wonderful neighborhood, very close to a popular "Lincoln Center" that features a variety of retail shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants. Located just a few miles from Village West Marina with boating and restaurants. Downtown Lodi, located just 10 miles north of us, provides access to the local award-winning, wineries and restaurants, as well as small boutiques, restaurants and Lodi Stadium 12 movie theater.
We are located 90 miles east of the San Francisco Bay area, and 45 miles south of the Capital City of Sacramento. Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Foothills are 75-150 miles to the East provide a number of great day trips.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Ideally, we would hope to have a Zoom meeting with candidates to answer any specific questions. Day 1 would be Friday, October 3rd, and we would provide an orientation and give you a tour of the local community before we leave on Saturday, October 4th.
Our return date is likely the 26th or 27th.
