Pet Sitter for 11 days near NYC

About this assignment

Family is traveling to Europe in April. Would like someone to live in the house, take care of the pets, water plants, etc. Full access to the house high speed wifi. Pool (may be open but not sure). Bikes including e-bikes available.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Walk the dogs twice a day - must take them to the park for off-leash trail hiking. Feed the cats, maintain litter, water plants, get mail, enjoy themselves

What are the good features of the property and location

three miles from train to NYC (one hour to Grand Central), Hudson Valley villages 15-20 min by car; excellent hiking / biking near the home. Good Restaurants, grocery stores, well stocked kitchen and pantry.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Need to be passionate about animals. The dogs get walked twice a day (at least) to one of several nearby parks that have off-leash walking trails. Dogs have lots of friends there and are well trained off leash. Cats just need to be fed/watered.
