About this assignment

Searching for an animal loving, reponsible sitter/sitters to take care of my dog and cat. 'Bean' (my dog), is very friendly but a little wilfull so will need someone with experience and a firm but loving hand.
My cat 'Tilley'' is shy and sometimes nervous, you can make friends with her if you are patient.
They make a good couple as Bean ensures no stray cats come into the garden to bully Tilley and Tilley keeps Bean in her place!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

To look after my pets and walk my dog. Also preferably some gardening and watering. There shouldn't be too much to do as at the time of year I will be away most things should have stopped growing i.e. weeds. The pond may need topping up and if the swimming pool is viable it may also need some attention.

What are the good features of the property and location

I live in a very peaceful village that has one small shop. It is picturesque with the river Yantra running below, there are also nice walks around. The nearest large town with supermarkets, restaurants and cultural sights is 24kms away.
From here you can explore areas of Bulgaria, plenty of monasteries and caves.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It would be better if the sitters have a car as the bus service is practically non existent. This is a quiet village with elderly people so if you are looking for excitement and parties it is not for you!
On the other hand if you enjoy nature and peace you will fit right in.
Most of the locals don't speak English however, there are a few expats in the village who speak English and who would help you out if need be.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
