Loving sitter(s) wanted for two dogs, four cats and our home in Webster, New Hampshire

About this assignment

Responsible, calm , experienced dog sitter who is comfortable with large breed dogs (or livestock guardian dogs ), cats and possibly baby chicks. Someone with some experience gardening would be a huge plus as we may have some seedlings to watch after. Looking for relaxed person who enjoys old homes and wouldn't mind caring for the home while we are away.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed and water the dogs, cats and possible baby chicks. Be sure to let the dogs out if needed to relieve themselves as well as keep them inside the fence so as not to escape. Walking the dogs is optional as we have a large yard - but they would love to go on walks as well. Watering and monitoring the vegetable seedlings would be helpful but its not time intensive. Light housekeeping after to keep after themselves required, no strenuous cleaning needed unless house sitter would like to.

What are the good features of the property and location

We have a large old home, with unique features. We have fast WIFI as my husband works from home but we have poor Verizon service at our location. We have a fenced in yard with walking trails behind the home as well as a long neighbors driveway that leads to multiple walking trails along a river. We live 20 min to Concord, New Hampshire with lots of good restaurants and interesting downtown to walk around. We are about 5 min from a small town center that has a couple bakeries and lunch spots. We are near the lakes region of New Hampshire and within 2 hours of the white mountains. There are many hikes and day trips to be had.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We would require a background check and references. We are open to couples and families as well as a single person. We would like whoever applies to be willing to come a day early to get to know the animals. Bonus points if you have experience with sourdough starters!!
