About this assignment

We are looking for a responsible, reliable and tidy person to mind our 5 year old Scottish Terrier, Olive. She is well behaved, friendly and loves people!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Olive needs to be fed twice per day - Once in the morning around 8:30 once in the evening around 6:30. She also needs to be walked a minimum of twice per day.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in Rialto close to many amenities and public transportation. There is a Centra, bakery, chemist, butcher, 3 restaurants and 2 pubs all within a short walk. The Phoenix Park, War Memorial Gardens, Kilmainham Gaol and IMMA are also very close by. There are several buses and the LUAS (tram) within a short walk. We have a sunny South facing back garden with a patio and a home gym.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Olive is well behaved and house trained but she can sometimes be a little stubborn on walks. She doesn't like to walk in high heat or rain. But she loves an adventure. Her favourite walks are in parks or forests. She is not very keen on traffic, especially buses which she is scared of. There is a small park behind our house that she likes to play fetch in if all else fails!
