Early summer in Alsace?

About this assignment

We are looking for a house sitter who can take care of our two cats while we're traveling for three weeks starting at the end of May 2025.
We're searching for somebody who is reliable, clean, a non-smoker and can guarantee that he/she can complete the assignment the full 21 days. We would prefer someone with some experience in house sitting and references.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house sitter will have to feed the cats, clean the litter box every day, play and cuddle with the cats and water the plants twice. The cats stay indoors all the time. Apart from this, there are no special responsibilities except for maintaining the level of cleanliness that the apartment was in when we left it.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our apartment is approx. 100 square meters and located in the center of Haguenau, France. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, supermarkets, a theater, cinema, train station etc. in our town. Apart from the cinema everything is within walking distance. Strasbourg is only about 25 km away, and Haguenau is an ideal spot for day trips to various places in France, Germany and Switzerland (e.g. Colmar, Mulhouse, Metz, Freiburg, Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe, Bale, ...).

We have wifi and cable tv (including some international channels) in our apartment. Landlines in most countries can be called for free with our telephone plan.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You should be available the entire length of our absence and will have to make your own travel arrangements to come to our place.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, self-sufficient and clean.
It's very important for us to find the apartment in the same condition
as we left it.
