About this assignment

2 cats and 3 chickens need TLC while family away for one months - Jun 15 to Jul 15 2025.

If you have no experience of cleaning up after cats, do not apply. You probably would not like it. An older couple would be ideal.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

2 Cats - feed, water, clean litter boxes.
Chickens - feed, water Lock up hutch at night, let out in morning.
Garden - water plants as required.
Relax and be happy.

What are the good features of the property and location

3/2 older house, gorgeous back yard, downtown Mountain View.
I mean really downtown one block from 2 parks, a theater, library, pool, more than 30 restaurants, stores - nice!
Internet TV the usual . .

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

chickens may/may not be fostered to a friend while we are away.

As for cats, you'll have to clear out litter boxes twice a day,
are you sure you want to do that ?

we mention this because we have had maybe up to ten sitters, mostly nice happy people, but two old guys turned out to be incapable of accepting that cats sometimes miss the box or throw up in the hallway. None of us really like that, but such is the nature of a cat.

Can I bring my own pets?
