Care for our aging kitty

About this assignment

A companion for our sweet little people-loving rescue kitty, Grace. We do not like leaving her alone for long! She has an unknown (likely cancer) condition but has a fine quality of life and is very affectionate.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Cat care: feeding, water, brushing, litter box cleaning. She needs a transdermal (inside her ear flap) medication every few days so sitter must be capable to administer. Retrieve mail from mailroom, take out trash to outside dumpster and recycling to recycling room.

What are the good features of the property and location

Exciting comfortable space in a former industrial building established as a live/work artist residence in 1988. We bought and renovated this "raw" loft in 2010. The building and surrounding city host a vibrant, youthful and sophisticated scene. There is frequent nearby public transportation to Boston and a local "Bluebike" station. What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

A car may not be necessary. Our cat is old and not in the best of health so she sometimes uses puppy pads as well as the litter box. Pads may have to be changed out daily and litter must be kept clean. All supplies will be provided.
