Mabel - a fit and active 12 year old rescue tabby
We are hoping for someone who will look after our rescue tabby Mabel now aged 12 and enjoy our large Victorian semi and pretty enclosed garden.
No cat walking required!
Feed and pet our lovely tabby Mabel who will reciprocate with loud purring. Please keep our houseplants and outdoor pots alive! Keep our house secure too please.
We are just five miles from the centre of Bristol and only 45 minutes from beautiful Bath. We have a pretty enclosed and private garden with a small summerhouse.
Five minutes away is the Bristol to Bath cycleway.
We are just off bus routes to Bristol and Bath.
Our house is much loved and cherished and all the rooms are large. We have four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Lots of art work in the house and some in the garden.
We have Virgin tv with Sky Sports etc and Prime. Good wifi signal.
Mabel is a 12 year old rescue tabby who loves company and enjoys being petted. We don't have cat flaps and she usually comes in at night when called. If she doesn't come in we prop the summerhouse door open and leave her some dry food. This is rare though. They should be prepared to tolerate her snoring!
Otherwise just enjoy all that Bristol and Bath offer.
Non smokers please
No, sorry.

Mable
We did a very pleasant Mindmyhouse sit for Mabel (she is an amazing cat) and we can’t find anything bad to tell about the house or its owners. Mabel is a lovely cat that likes to be cuddled, goes out to play in a beautiful English flower garden and the location provides great bus connections to Bristol as well as Bath. To us, it was even easier to take the bus, although we had our own car parked in the carport near the house.

Fantastic experience!
I’ve stayed with Mabel, the cute little cat and enjoyed their beautiful house with the wonderful and very peaceful garden this summer. Judy and Alan made me feel at home straight away, even cooked a lovely vegan dinner and showed me around the neighbourhood and the city of Bristol to make sure I find everything I needed. I could also use Judy’s bicycle which I highly appreciated as there are fantastic cycle paths around Bristol taking you into the City, to Bath to the river Avon etc. Mabel was a bit shy just the first days but soon got confidence and was really sweet. I definitely recommend housesitting for Judy and Alan who are just lovely people! Thank you so much, hope to see you again!

Lovely house, friendly cat, even friendlier owners!
We spent more than two weeks in Judith’s lovely house in Bristol. Judith is a very nice, thoughtful person who made sure that we were comfortable. Prior to our arrival she told us all we needed to know about her house and about the area. Upon our arrival Judith and her husband prepared a delicious dinner, they left us lots of leaflets, maps and guides, so we knew what to see in the area. We loved our room and the house in general. The cat was friendly and cute - taking care of her was a pleasure. All in all, a cat/housesit we'd recommend to anyone!
