1 dog 2 cats
I am looking for someone reasonably clean, tidy and responsible, animal lover, someone who is at home in and appreciates the countryside. Preferably non smoking vegetarian.
I have a dog and 2 cats which will need feeding and looking after. The dog needs to be taken for a walk every day. Also depending on the time of year there are a number of plants to be watered, every day in the height of summer or every few days at other times.
The property is set in a wonderful location overlooking the river Guadiaro on the edge of a national park with forested hills behind and avocado plantations in front. It a is a few minutes walk down to the river to swim, 5 minutes drive to the nearest town for amenities. The nearest town is San Pablo de Buceite but it is also a 15 minute drive to Gaucin or Jimena de la frontera. It is private, secluded and comfortable. The house has 2 bedrooms with bathrooms, large living room and kitchen. Beautiful outside space with ancient olive trees and spectacular views.
Your own transportation is essential as the property is a few kilometers from the nearest town. It could be a bicycle but a car would be preferable if you wish to explore the area.
No, sorry.

Cosy Home and a great bunch of animals!
We had a wonderful two months stay at Sebastian's home. The location is in a beautiful setting, in an unique area of Andalusia. The weather was fantastic over the winter months, we enjoyed lazing in the sunshine on many of a day. You have opportuunity to visit the Los Alcornacales National park and beautiful peublos blancos in the local area. Though the true blessing of this housesit is the animals. The Cats all have such interesting personalities, they are really affectionate and love to hang out. We hadn't looked after bengal cats before but they are strikingly beautiful and quite chatty :-) They do have their own inner politics but you learn that quickly and get used to it. Then there is Messi the dog! He is very loving, cuddly dog and will lay on you given any chance. He is a real fun to spend time with and is full of energy so loves a big walks. We miss him very much. Sebastian is a very welcoming, lovely guy, it was a real pleasure to meet him. We came a day early and he explained us everything we needed to know and when away he was quick to communicate with us if we had any questions. We really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it if given the opportunity!

Relaxing countryside home with the sweetest pets!
I recently stayed for 1 month in Sebastian's home. I arrived a day and a half early so that I could learn everything and get to know the pets and area. I found Sebastian's home very comfortable and peaceful... and the perfect place to write, create, and relax. It is located out in the countryside but only a short drive away from the local villages and about 45 minutes from the coast. I was able to explore a lot of the area -- but simply driving around on the beautiful winding road was my favorite! His dog, Messi, is by far one of the easiest and happiest dogs I've ever met. Watching him swim in the river and trying to catch fish made me smile and laugh every day - he never gave up. The 3 Bengal cats were always very sweet and easy to take care of. They came and went as they pleased but after the first week they all loved to come help me "work" by sitting on my lap demanding cuddles :-). I would definitely recommend this housesit and would absolutely go back and stay again!

Tranquil Country Stay
I house sat for Sebastian for 6 days. I looked after his delightful dog Messy and three beautiful Bengal cats. They were a joy to look after. Messy and I went to the beautiful river several times a day for swims. The house is charming and was so easy to enjoy and relax in. Sebastian was easy to communicate with and he explained things thoroughly. I was house sitting alone and felt safe at all times. Anyone who comes to house sit is sure to have an enjoyable time.

Home away from home
Sebastian is a great guy and his house just feels right. From the minute you step in, it already feels like home, so warm and welcoming. Him being vegan, we challenged ourselves not to cook with meat those 6 weeks and we felt great; free avocados from the nearby orchard certainly help with cooking ideas. Sebastian was always just a text away when anything needed to be fixed around the house, giving us a helpful advice if necessary. All the animals on the property are amazing, each with their own personality. Messi the dog is very playful and lots of fun, despite being like a locomotive when he runs around, slamming into stuff and people with full force. The three gorgeous bengal cats look like little tigers and though they were a bit shy at first, we have slowly turned them all into cuddly kittens. Despite the spring being mostly rainy, we've managed to do plenty of trips around, from Ronda to Gibraltar, to name a few, which are both very close drive away. Though the drive to the house is a bit bumpy and as usual google navigation is not to be trusted, it's a great base to do trips from and enjoy the region.
